The Winchester

We made an impulsive stop for lunch at The Winchester over the weekend and were seated at the perfect two-top right by the window. Without the slightest hesitation, I ordered the grits and shrimp with a poached egg. The space was filled with natural light and minimal decor and the East Village public at The Winchester was young, fashionable, and upbeat. The meal stands out as a new favorite dish and I can't wait to go back for the drinks.
